Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, on Tuesday, alleged that the "inefficient" administration of Chief Minister K Rosaiah was the cause for farmers resorting to suicides.Talking to media persons after distributing cheques for the repairs of dilapidated mosques in the district, Naidu criticized what he called the 'indifferent' attitude of the state government towards the farmers.

He said that the farmers were in dire straits due to indifferent policies of the State government, and were resorting to suicides.The former chief minister alleged that the suicide rate among farmers has increased after the Congress government assumed charge.Accusing the government of lacking both vision and direction in running the administration, Naidu also stated that law and order in the State had deteriorated due to an inefficient Chief Minister at the helm.
