A get-together of Congress MPs hosted by APCC president D. Srinivas saw party representatives from Telangana criticising their Seemandhra counterparts for not only insulting the high command but also Chief Minister K. Rosaiah through their recent actions.

The meeting intended to bring about unity among the MPs in wake of ugly developments and growing distance between elected representatives failed to achieve the desired results.

Only 22 of 46 members of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha attended with a majority of absentees belonging to the Andhra and Rayalaseema regions.
