Chief Minister K. Rosaiah made a fervent appeal to people of different faiths to exercise utmost restraint and not fall prey to ill-conceived feelings when the Allahabad High Court delivers its judgment in the Ayodhya case today. He said the verdict was a part of legal process and members of no community should nurse a feeling that it was against them. The judgement was not the end of the case as the aggrieved parties could appeal before the Supreme Court.

Addressing a media conference here on Wednesday, Mr. Rosaiah rejected a suggestion for declaring a holiday for government offices and educational institutions on Thursday The Chief Minister said the case related was to a disputed site in Ayodhya but tension was building up all over the country. Recalling to the appeal by the Prime Minister and leaders of different faiths and political parties, he advised people not to get excited over the verdict, and instead remain calm.
