High security ahead of Ayodhya verdict

With no time left of the Ayodhya verdict, tight security is in place at the High Court where the verdict will be delivered. State and paramilitary forces are securing the court and only litigants and lawyers with listed business for the day will be allowed in.The government asked the law enforcing agencies to step up security here and in neighbouring Faizabad and deal sternly with those who try to break communal harmony in the aftermath of the ruling.
Various guidelines have been issued by the court for the judgement. Mobile phones are banned inside the courtroom. Against the state government's demand for nearly 600 companies of central forces with 50 companies for the twin towns of Ayodhya and Faizabad alone, the state has so far received only 52 companies of CRPF and RAF till now, they said.
