Hi-tec City flyover thrown open
Twenty thousand motorists shuttling across the Hi-tec City junction everyday can now look for a hassle-free journey as the much awaited Hi-tec City flyover was opened by Chief Minister K. Rosaiah here on Saturday. Besides this, the long-pending Kukatpally road overbridge is all set to be completed by March 2011.
Constructed at a cost of Rs. 26 crore, the Hi-tec City flyover is installed with solar lighting system and aids in savings to the tune of Rs. 3 lakh per year. The 700-metre long flyover would ease traffic at Hi-tec City junction, where the road from JNTU Kukatpally via IT hub connecting Gachibowli and the Jubilee - Kondapur road via Madhapur cross.
