Govt decides to pay Singareni Collieries employees 16% of profit

The State Government on Monday decided to pay 16% of the profit to Singareni Collieries employees. The company had earned a record profit of Rs. 268 crore for 2009-10 with a production of 50.4 million tonnes which was also an all time high.
In a meeting with the Company the Governmnet decided to share 16% of the profit with employees. Just like the last year, the employees would get this amount of share a bonus ahead of Dussera for which the company is making all arrangements.
