Congress MP from Kadapa Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy was moved by the gratitude expressed by a woman, whose son underwent heart operation thanks to Rajiv Aarogya Sri health insurance scheme for the poor launched by YSR. Describing YSR as champion of the poor, he said YSR lived in the hearts of poor people.

During the 28th day of his 'Odarpu yatra', the Congress MP from Kadapa YS Jaganmohan Reddy consoled the families of one Krishnamurthy and Bala Kondaiah, who had died in the wake of YSR's death in helicopter crash, during his tour in the mandals of Maddipadu and S.N. Padu and unveiled the statue of YSR in over 20 places. He offered prayers at a Ram temple in Perlameta.
