Cracking the whip against indiscipline, APCC president D. Srinivas on Tuesday sacked Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, a close aide of Kadapa MP Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy, as PCC secretary for indulging in activities detrimental to the party discipline. Mr. Sridhar Reddy was suspended from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect. He was also served a show cause notice why further disciplinary action should not be taken against him. Nellore City Congress Committee made a detailed complaint on the activities of him contrary to the party prospects. Mr. Sridhar Reddy along with the Mekapati brothers had openly come out in support of the Odarpu yatra' by Mr. Jagan, which is expected to enter Nellore district sometime next week.
