Indian shooters continued to bring glory at the 19th Commonwealth Games. It was turn of the Women shooters Anisha Sayyed and Rahi Sarnobat who bagged gold and silver medals. On Tuesday, Anisha along with Rahi had won gold medal in women's Pairs in 25m pistol by created Commonwealth Games record.

It was a replica of mens 10 m air rifle event in womens 25m air pistol where both the top two slots went to Indians. The bronze medal went to Malaysian shooter. Meanwhile Renu Bala Chanu gave India its first gold medal in weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games event after finishing first in the womens category of 58 kg by the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Sports Complex.
