Chief Minister K. Rosaiah will leave for New Delhi on a two-day visit today and call on AICC president Sonia Gandhi the tomorrow. Due to his indisposition last month, Mr. Rosaiah could not greet Ms.Gandhi after her unanimous election as party president. All eyes in the Congress are on this meeting as he is expected to discuss the latest political situation in the State, particularly the developments on the Telangana front and the growing indiscipline in the ruling Congress.

What is of interest to the Congressmen is whether the Chief Minister broaches the subject of the long overdue reshuffle of his Cabinet and seek her permission to make the necessary changes. Already, pressure is mounting from within the party to take up the exercise. Mr. Rosaiah will also call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and several Union Ministers. He will return to the city on tomorrow evening.
