The Navaratri Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara are continuing on a colourful note. On Saturday the Lord of seven hills was taken on Hamsa vahanam procession. The day witnessed several religious formalities being carried out inside the hill temple. Soon after the completion of the 'Abhishekam' to the Lord in the wee hours of the day.

Special rituals were carried out inside the ' Yagasala ' in the morning. Later the evening the processional deities of Lord Malayappa Swamy was taken out on Mada streets were devotees danced to Kolatam, Cheka bajans etc. Devotees came thronging from various places and were delighted to witness the procession.
