Reshuffle or quit, CM told by Rayapati Sambasiva Rao

The senior Congress MP from Guntur, Mr Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, on Sunday suggested that Chief Minister Mr K. Rosaiah should either effect a total reshuffle of his ministry or quit from his post. Speaking to newspersons at Delhi on Sunday evening, Mr Rao alleged that there were corrupt, inefficient ministers in the Cabinet and some of them did not care for the advice of the Chief Minister. He asked how the CM could function when his words were not respected and his own team was not in the place. He said that though Mr Rosaiah as Chief Minister had been working satisfactorily and had earned a good name in the public, if he was not given a free hand in selecting his own team and remove corrupt and inefficient ministers, the party could not maintain its image in the public.
