The Kadapa MP, Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, extended financial assistance to a widow, Lakshamma of Kavali, on Thursday night after she narrated her woes following the death of her husband soon after the demise of Dr YSR.

She said that he was a fan of Dr YSR and died while watching the funeral ceremony of Dr YSR. Incidentally her husband, Addanki Prasads name is not among the list of the victims prepared by Jagans camp.

The woman herself broug-ht this to the notice of Mr Jagan during a meeting on Wednesday. He went to her house in Kavali and consoled her after Mr Reddy confirmed her version on Thursday. Mr Jagan offered prayers at Kalugoalamma temple at Kavali on Thursday morning and released a CD containing devotional songs of the deity.
