Royal parade at Tirumala
Elegance marked the procession of Suryaprabha Vahanam conducted on Thursday morning as part of the ongoing annual Navaratri Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.Thousands of devotees took part in the colourful procession that lasted for more than two hours.
The processional deity of Lord Malayappa mounted atop the golden Surya Prabha was taken around amidst great religious ecstasy. Earlier in the day special rituals were performed inside the hill temple. On the other side Chief Minister Rosaiah is all set to visit the hill shrine today.
