The split in newly launched Telangana Praja Front led by Gaddar was almost complete on Thursday as hardliners wanting the outfit to fight elections did not attend its maiden steering committee meeting which had to be ultimately gone through with activists committed to achieve separate Telangana through struggles.

Briefing media persons after the day long proceedings, Gaddar said it was the unanimous view of all members that Mr. Hanumandlu continue in the meeting till the completion of the debate whether the front should participate in elections or not, but he left.

It was suggested to him that those who wanted elections continue to be associated with the organisation expressing their dissent with the majority decision to keep away from electoral politics.
