The winter session of parliament is expected to commence on Nov 9 and will conclude on Dec 13. According to an official release, President Pratibha Patil has summoned the Rajya Sabha to meet on Nov 9, at New Delhi. Subject to exigencies of business, the session is scheduled to conclude on Monday, December 13, 2010. The Rajya Sabha secretariat has issued a notification informing members that the sessions will commence on Nov 9. Official sources said a similar notification from the Lok Sabha is expected soon.
