Special attention for development of Medak

Chief Minister K. Rosaiah said that special attention would be paid for the development of Medak district as it has vast potential for industrial development and being in close proximity to the State capital.
Addressing a gathering after participating in series of developmental programmes and Dasara celebrations held at Sangareddy on Sunday, Mr. Rosaiah said that he would play his bit of role in the development of the district.
Mentioning about various schemes being implemented in the district including Parishkaram, Job Mela, Runa mela, total sanitation campaign etc., he said that the government has been continuing the development and welfare schemes initiated by late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy across the State.
This is your government which stands by you. Bless this government on the auspicious day of Dasara, he urged the people. Earlier in the day, Mr. Rosaiah inaugurated Mahabubsagar tank, Manjira Water Supply scheme and Rajiv Park in addition to laying foundation stone for Data complex.
All the works were worth Rs.27.48 crore.MLA T. Jayaprakash Reddy, who organised the event, urged the Chief Minister to propose Sangareddy as satellite city to the Union government so that more funds can be availed of for development. A couple of MLA's, ministers and leaders met the Chief Minister.
