Manmohan inaugrates 21st science meet of TWAS at HICC
The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, called for collective scientific efforts to combat global challenges. Inaugurating the 21st general meeting of the Academy of Sciences for Developing World , TWAS on Tuesday.
Dr. Singh said developing countries lack a well organised system besides facing problems of shortages of skilled manpower and appropriate research facilities to cater to the needs of modern day challenges.
Addressing a conclave of scientists, The prime minister appealed to advanced scientific community to join hands with developing world by pooling resources and wisdom to fight against transnational problems.
