.D Srinivas loosing two times in the elections while he is the PCC chief is gathering criticism from all corners. There are already rumours that D Srinivas will resign from the PCC chief post before he is replaced by the Congress high command. D Srinivas has been in the good books of the Congress high command all these days, but the recent by-poll debacle is making the high command search for alternatives before the damage turns irreversible. Many senior Congress leaders including Botsa Satyanarayana are said to be eyeing the PCC chief post but the Congress high command will most probably go with Telangana leader as already the CM post is given to Seemandhra leader (Rosaiah). The younger leaders and YSR sympathizers are voicing for Jagan to be made the PCC chief as that will bring in new energy to the cadre and strengthen the party. However according to political analysts D Srinivas will continue to be the PCC chief or senior leader V Hanumantha Rao might replace him if the high command feels that changing the PCC chief is a necessity now.
