This is just in..Advocates who were owing allegiance to Guntur Bar Association were arrested on wednesday when they tried to lay seige to the Collectorate in guntur support of their demand for a Bench of Andhra Pradesh High Court between Vijayawada and Guntur.

The Advocates, who are on the agitational path since September 27 on the issue, decided to intensify their agitation. As part of it they reached the Collectorate in large numbers and tried to lock the main gate of the Collector Office.

However, the police personnel, who were present there, foiled the attempt. Meanwhile, the fast-unto-death for the cause by advocates was interuptted by the police, who forcibily shifted them to hospital.
