On the other side Reacting to the comments made by CM Rosaiah, TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu has accused him of intentionally not allowing opposition leaders to meet PM Manmohan Singh to avoid embarrassment to his government.

Alleging the Chief Minister's role in the denial of audience with the Prime Minister, he ridiculed Mr. Rosaiah's reported claim that the latter could submit a representation to Dr. Singh at the fag end of his visit.

Naidu alleged that 'history-sheeters' and 'land grabbers' were allowed to meet Dr. Singh. He reiterated the charge that the CM and PM derived 'sadistic pleasure' in not allowing the Opposition parties to represent public issues.
