The Telugu Desam Party President Chandra Babu Naidu on Friday, visited Medak to console the victims of microfinance in the district. In order to pevent any untoward incidents, the police arrested the activists of Telangana Rashtra Samiti as a precautionary measure, along with district president Srinivas.

The demonstrators were taken into custody as they were demanding the cancellation of tour of TDP supremo. According to sources of TDP, the purpose of the visit was to give mental support to such families and also to exert pressure on the government.
