The Telugu Desam chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, who sent his Telangana leaders to stage a dharna before the Congress president, Mrs Sonia Gandhis residence in New Delhi faced a similar agitation in front of his house in Jubilee Hills.

A group of Telangana activists under the banner Praja Telangana Samiti tried to barge into the Opposition leaders residence. Police swung in to disperse them.

Raising slogans against Mr Naidu and demanding him to come out openly on the Telangana issue without further delay, the Telangana activists lay a siege before Mr Naidus residence.

After some time another group, this time under the name of Telangana Congress Saradhya Brundam, tried in to enter TD headquarters, NTR Trust buildings in Jubilee Hills.

They raised slogans against Mr Naidu for not giving a letter to the Srikrishna Committee and demanded him to come out in favour of separate state.
