Lagadapati Rajagopal, MP, has asserted that a Bench of the High Court would definitely be set up in the coastal districts at a place acceptable to all. He also said emphatically that the Bench would be set up only after December 31, though no time frame could be mentioned now. Responding to questions from newspersons during his Bapuji Sadbhavana Yatra at Mallikarjunapeta in 25th division on Monday, Mr. Rajagopal said that he too would join the agitation for the Bench if it was not likely to be conceded after December 31.

Asked why the Government was unable to state this, the MP explained that the Ministers and the officials were bound to work under certain limitations. If they stated this position categorically, the forces fighting for separate state could take advantage of it and create animosities among people of different regions.
