Babu critizes renaming of Lalitha Kala Thoranam

Criticizing the move to rename the Telugu Lalitha Kala Thoranam after Rajiv Gandhi, Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Tuesday, wrote a letter to Chief Minister K Rosaiah demanding him to immediately withdraw the Government Order 1307 effecting change.Raising serious objection to the government's step, Naidu said, the move would hurt the sentiments of crores of Telugu people, and termed it as unwise. Stating that the open air auditorium was brain child of former chief minister N T Rama Rao, he questioned the need for changing the name and urged to reconsider its decision. Meanwhile, The TDP chief appealed to the government to retain name as usual and respect the emotions of Telugu people.
