CM Rosaiah orders officials to meet electricity needs by 2014

The State government has finally sought ways to avoid difficulties to the common man pertaining to power supply. The Chief Minister K Rosaiah held a review meeting with the Higher officials of electricity department. Rosaiah ordered the officials to chalk out a plan in which the power needs for the state should be sufficient through self production by 2014.
The Chief Minister suggested the officials to produce atleast 2800 mega watts of power by 2013 for various projects. The officials said that the Centre Enviornment department and Forest Ministry has granted acceptance for the 600 mega watt power project in Errakuntla mandal of kadapa district.
