The TRS will step up its activities with more agitational programmes to dilute the impact of the formation of the Telangana Praja Front by balladeer Gaddar. Briefing media after a meeting of the TRS on Wednesday to take stock of the impact that TPF would have, JAC chairman M Kodandaram said that the party decided to raise its voice for the cause of Telangana by paralysing government functions, block national highways-7 and 9 and lay siege to all collectorates on Nov 1, the AP state formation day.

Kodandaram said the JAC calls upon people to observe Nov 1 as a betrayal day. He appealed to the people of Telangana not to receive any awards from the government that day. The JAC will also submit memorandum to the ministers, MPs and MLAs from the region urging them not to participate in the AP formation day celebrations, he said.
