Congress MLA D.L. Ravindra Reddy has said that the party's central leadership had taken a serious view of the APIIC-Emaar MGF scandal and may seek a comprehensive probe into the alleged irregularities.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday after his visit to New Delhi, where he called on AICC president Sonia Gandhi and other Central leaders to apprise them about the scandal,Dr. Ravindra Reddy said it was a matter of time before an inquiry was ordered.

Stating that Chief Minister K. Rosaiah was not under pressure to defer the probe into the APIIC-Emaar issue, the former Minister said it was necessary to bring out the truth as serious doubts were being raised over the ownership of the scandal-ridden firm.
