The Tirumala police on Monday took nine persons into custody for allegedly selling laddus' in black market. The accused hail from the neighboring Karnataka, Maharastra and different parts of the State. Their modes operand was to enter the second Vaikuntham queue complex and avail the Rs.10 - subsidized laddu' tokens and sell them at higher rates in the black market. The police seized over 80 laddu' tokens and Rs.2,000 in cash from the accused.
