Warning of serious consequences, The Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief, K. Chandra Shekar Rao, on Friday, said that the Telangana people would not bear, if Hyderabad was separated as a union territory.

KCR has also made it clear to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that Hyderabad would be very much part of the Telangana state. In the meantime, He condemned strongly the news published in one national daily as Hyderabad a union territory.

He re-iterated that there was no question of accepting the proposal to make the city as union territory & the development of industries and other sectors would be done with Hyderabad as its base.
