TDP leaders to stay away from A.P.formation day fete

Senior Telugu Desam Party leader and former minister Devender Goud, on Saturday, revealed that his party leaders from Telangana region would desist from participating in the Andhra Pradesh formation day celebrations on November 1st. Talking to media persons, Goud stated that the decision was taken in deference to the wishes of people from the region.
The leader charged the Congress of trying to create chaos with the aim of weakening TDP, in State. In the meantime, The TDP leader alleged that, the Congress had deliberately planted rumors of according a union territory status to Hyderabad to create even more confusion in State.
Goud also accused the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, TRS, president K Chandrasekhar Rao, Srikrishna Committee member-secretary V K Duggal and Governor Narasimhan had become pawns in the hands of the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre.
