Recruitment drive for 1267 SI posts
Eligibility test in 2nd week of November This is a good news for unemployed youth. The Home Department has started its exercise to recruit 1, 267 sub inspector posts in state. Speaking on the issue, the state Home Minister Sabitha Indira Reddy, said that, the written test for eligible candidates would be conducted in 2nd week of November.
Lauding the leadership of former chief minister, late Y.S.Rajshekar Reddy, on his active intervention & focus on law and order, the minister said, Andhra Pradesh is the only state in India to hire nearly 37,000 officials in police department. She added that recruitment of more police personnel was needed to strengthen the department in State. In the meantime, Sabitha stated that the recruitment drive for 700 Jail wardens & 16,000 constables would be completed by the month end of November.
Expressing satisfaction over the Law & Order situation in State, the minister maintained that the vigilance in the city should be tightened further using the modern technical equipment.
