T-Students lay siege to CM's residence

Police arrest the protesters
A day ahead of Andhra Pradesh formation day, pro-Telangana students on Sunday, sought to lay siege to the residence of state Chief Minister K. Rosaiah, demanding the day not be celebrated in region.
The leaders and members of Osmania University's Joint Action Committee, tried to march towards chief minister's residence but were stopped by the police. Raising slogans against CM, the protesters tried to remove police barricades.
However, teh cops pushed back dozens of agitators and arrested them. However, Tension prevailed in the area, as police had a tough time in controlling protesters.
