IPL Auction DAY 2

After spending massively on day one, most of the franchisees had to keep looking at their purse on Sunday, to keep a tight leash on their spending as total of 85 players remained unsold until lunch. Australian Daniel Christian was the costliest buy for $9,00,000 on a day, when teams had their focus on buying bowlers and all-rounders rather than batsmen.
Christian was bought by Deccan Chargers after its tough fight with Delhi Daredevils. Mumbai Indians also didn't hold back when it came to bidding for bowlers as they went hard for Munaf Patle and eventually bagged him for $700,000. Umesh Yadav also went for a whooping $750,000, snatched by Delhi Daredevils.
