Iraq Crisis: ఇరాక్‌లో రాజకీయ సంక్షోభం ముదురుతోంది. షియా మతాధికారి ముక్తాదా అల్ సదర్ రాజకీయాలకు రిటైర్‌మెంట్ ప్రకటించారు. దీంతో ఇరాక్‌లో హింస చెలరేగింది. ముక్తాదా మద్దతు దారులు బాగ్దాద్‌లో బీభత్సం సృష్టించారు. నిరసనలతో హోరెత్తించారు. రిపబ్లికన్ ప్రభుత్వం బిల్డింగ్‌ను చుట్టుముట్టేశారు. ప్యాలెస్ గేట్లు పగులగొట్టారు. బాగ్దాద్ గ్రీన్ జోన్‌లో ఆందోళనకారులపై సైన్యం కాల్పులు జరిపింది. ఈ కాల్పుల్లో 20 మంది చనిపోయారు. దీంతో ఆరుదశాబ్దాలకు పైగా రక్తపాతంతో తడిసి ముద్దయిన ఇరాక్ మళ్లీ అంతర్యుద్ధం బారిన పడినట్లయ్యింది. .
అంతటితో ఆగకుండా ముక్తాదా మద్దతు దారులు అధ్యక్ష భవనంలోకి దూసుకెళ్లారు. మొన్న శ్రీలంక ఆందోళనకారులు.. తమ అధ్యక్ష భవనంలోకి వెళ్లి ఎలా బీభత్సం సృష్టించారో అచ్చం అలానేచేశారు. అక్కడ ఉన్న స్మిమ్మింగ్‌పుల్‌లో అందోళనకారులు ఈతలు కొట్టారు. ఈ సీన్స్ శ్రీలంక దృశ్యాలను తలపించాయి.
